Simon Bailey - Trusted Advisor - Board Governance and Strategy

Simon specialises in strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, organisation design and restructure – with a focus on getting the best out of people and organisations that have slowed down or collapsed from their former glory.

His experience over the past 25 years includes a range of executive management, advisory, training and facilitation roles in industries as diverse as manufacturing, science and medicine, law, human resources and recruitment, financial services, government, transport, agriculture and horticulture, hospitality, IT, retail and franchising.

During that time, Simon has worked with a large range of businesses on strategic and scenario planning – assisting them to define future paths that are not only profitable and sustainable, but also differentiate them in the market.

John Cottrell - Strategic Thinking, Executive Facilitation and Change

John has expertise in corporate governance, specialising in business start-up, restructures, mergers and public listings.

He has over 30 years experience across banking, broking (equity and money), treasury and finance, investment services, funds management and telecommunications.

John’s consultancy work is guided by the key findings from his research into “strategic foresight”, principally the impact of short-termism on use of foresight and the high level of frustration among non-executive directors from the limited Board involvement in setting long-term direction and maintaining organisational viability.

Peter specialises in the alignment of Marketing, Business Strategy and Knowledge Management to assist organizations in achieving their organisational and cultural vision. He has extensive experience in the establishment of teams, processes for the successful delivery of major initiatives ranging from Organisational Change Management to ERP implementations.

With over 30 years experience in senior strategic and operational management capacities involving various management disciplines, in the last eight years David has focussed on consulting with blue chip and SME companies to deliver business transformation through implementing a varied range of process re-engineering and transformation projects.

His clients include local and international companies in a diverse range of industries including manufacturing, telecommunications, financial services, food processing and agricultural products.

Arthur Shelley - Trusted Advisor - Collaboration, Knowledge and Business Transformation

Arthur primary focus is assisting clients to engage and influence stakeholders and smoothly integrate organisational change projects.

He has over 20 years experience in professional roles and managing international projects, which have provided unique insights into what motivates people to collaborate.  He initiated and facilitated virtual global communities to leverage knowledge - sharing and increase productivity.

Through these roles and as the Global Knowledge Director for a large fast moving consumer goods business, he has developed a keen interest in human behaviour and how to successfully implement change. His observations are captured in his USA published book, "The Organizational Zoo, A Survival Guide to Workplace Behaviour"

As the creator of The Organizational Zoo character workshops, Arthur teaches clients how to use this tool to assist selection and development of team members and for understanding how to get people to work together more effectively.

Paul Tierney - IT Transformations Program Manager

Paul has an outstanding track record in planning and operations for supply chain, distribution planning and logistics/inventory management for large scale operations.  He has an in-depth knowledge of different logistics mediums, including import and export, rail, local freight, sea and road transportation.

His over 20 years experience includes work in many major Australian companies in the manufacturing, packaging, food retailing, food processing, consumer goods, engineering, telecommunications, consulting services and logistics industries. Paul has led business transformations for supply chain optimisation and manufacturing systems, with project scope including strategy development, design, integration, implementation and change management.

He has very strong commercial acumen, including financial budgeting, profit delivery and operational cost control. Paul is passionate about delivering sustainable change and achieves this through a unique attention to detail and an outcomes-driven methodology. He uses his unique mix of IT and operations experience to deliver systems that work and deliver commercial value to the business.
